Qualification:  

1. Engine Driver - i) X Class or Equivalent ii) 10 Years Service on Sea going vessel with five years independent auxiliary machinery

2. Launch Mechanic - i) X Standard Pass ii) 5 Years Service on Sea going vessel with One years independent Charge of engine and auxiliary machinery  

3. Senior Deck Hand - i) X Standard Pass ii) 5 Years Service on Sea going vessel with two years in helmsman and seamanship work

4. Tradesman - i) ITI Certificate in Mechanic, Diesel, Mechanic, Fitter, Turner, Welder, Electrician, Instrument, Carpentry ii) X Class or Equivalent iii) 2 Years experience in Engineering, Automobile, Ship Repairs Organization

5. Seaman - i) X Class or Equivalent ii) 10 Years Service on Sea going vessel with two years in helmsman and seamanship work

6. Greaser - 2. Launch Mechanic - i) X Standard Pass ii) 5 Years Service on Sea going mechanized vessel in main and auxiliary machinery Maintenance.

Age Limit: Candidates Age should be between (For Post 1 - 18 to 35 Years), (For Post 2, 3 - 18 to 30 Years), (For Post 4, 5, 6 - 18 to 25 Years). Relaxations in upper age limit For OBC 3 Years, For SC/ST Candidates 5 Years. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules

Pay Scale: 

1. Engine Driver - Rs. 5200 - 20,200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 2400/-

2. Launch Mechanic - Rs. 5200 - 20,200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 2400/-

3. Senior Deck Hand - Rs. 5200 - 20,200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 2000/-

4. Tradesman - Rs. 5200 - 20,200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 1900/-

5. Seaman - Rs. 5200 - 20,200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 1800/-

6. Greaser - Rs. 5200 - 20,200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 1800/-

Selection Procedure: Written Exam, Interview, Skill Test
